The Final Conference of the SMARTWB – “Curricula innovation in climate-smart urban development based on green and energy efficiency with the non-academic sector” project was successfully held on 6-7 November 2025 in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar, Faculty of Civil Engineering. The event brought together project partners to present results, exchange experiences and chart future directions for climate-smart urban development in the Western Balkans region.

On the second day, a Round Table on the topic “ERASMUS+ CBHE calls: Trends and Experience” discussed broader higher-education cooperation frameworks.
Parallel governance meetings (Steering Committee, Project Management Committee, Quality Assurance Committee) concluded the conference, followed by a city tour.
Innovative curricula centred on climate-smart urban development, green and energy-efficient built environments.
Modernised infrastructure and digital tools to support teaching and learning in these domains.
Strengthened relationships between higher education, industry and NGOs, aligning education with practical needs.
Teaching and learning materials, methodologies, and resources to be used beyond the project lifetime.
