The environmental movement "OZON" was founded on September 16, 2006, on the International Day for the Protection of the Ozone Layer, with the adoption of the founding act and the Statute of the Association.
By decision of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Public Administration, and based on Article 196 of the Law on General Administrative Procedure and Article 13 of the Law on Non-Governmental Organizations, the Environmental Pocket "OZON" was entered into the Register of Non-Governmental Associations on 08.12.2006. under serial number 3756.

"OZON" contributes to improving the quality of life and the environment, protecting the public interest through active participation in the decision-making process, general representation, and education of different target groups from all segments of society.

Montenegro is an ecological country, a full member of the European Union, globally recognized for the proper valorization of natural resources, the rule of law, transparent institutions and developed civil environmental activism, where the Environmental Movement "OZON" is one of the most influential civil society organizations.
